Coin Collection
The coins (medals) of the Elvis Presley Collection were minted by the Royal Canadian Mint in 1987 for Legendary Coins under License from Graceland.
These precious medals were minted in the highest quality possible. Each medal was struck from specially prepared pure gold and silver blanks using polished dies which produced an attractive heavy frosted design in high relief on a brilliant mirrored background.
Each medal was handled with great care during the minting process to ensure that they were absolutely flawless and were then encapsulated to maintain their craftsmanship and beauty for an eternity.
The detail and accuracy attained by these medals is second to none and will never again be duplicated. From the notes on the gates of Graceland right down to the studded Eagle Pattern on his jacket, each minute detail has been painstakingly reproduced by the finest engravers at the Royal Canadian Mint and by Frank Gasspparro, the former head engraver of the United States Mint
Their precious silver and gold content, low worldwide mintages, flawless workmanship and the incredible notoriety attained over the years have made them a rare investment opportunity and one of the most sought after Elvis collectables prized by Elvis fans and coin collectors alike.
